Service Description
Five week introductory clay course, teaching key skills - pinching, coiling, slabbing, joining. Dates: - Monday June 2nd - Monday June 8th - Monday June 15th - Monday June 22nd - Monday June 29th
Cost: £26.50 per 5 week course.
What is Clay Club?

Children will learn key clay skills of pinching, coiling, slabbing and joining during this 5 week course.
But there is so much more to clay than just getting messy (although that is, of course, part of the fun!). Our club is a mindful break from a busy digital world, a safe place to go after school, where mistakes are part of the process. Whilst having fun children learn perseverence, resilience and problem solving. ​
It is a chance to unwind, relax with friends and express themselves. There is no 'wrong' in clay club - children can experiment, go off-piste and follow their imaginations. ​
Schedule:
Week 1: Pinching (making owls)
Week 2: Coiling (making tea light holder houses)
Week 3: Slabbing (wall hangings)
Week 4: Free choice
Week 5: Painting and varnishing.
